Social Media Strategy & Management for Monitoreo Inteligente

As part of Monitoreo Inteligente’s modernization, I spearheaded the creation, administration, and strategic development of their social media presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Each platform was approached with a distinct strategy tailored to its audience and purpose:

• LinkedIn: Focused on establishing Monitoreo Inteligente as an authority within the GPS tracking and monitoring niche. (Note: This strategy was later paused by management due to extensive research demands.)

• Instagram & Facebook: Utilized to showcase services and highlight the human side of the company, fostering community engagement.

• YouTube: Developed as a hub for consultation material, primarily featuring tutorials and updates. (Look at audiovisual section to know more)

My role encompassed the entire creative spectrum, from designing graphic posts, animations, and video/reels (to the scripting, pre-production, production, and editing of video tutorials).

We launched successful lead generation campaigns that yielded excellent results in Cost Per Click (CPC) and Return on Investment (ROI). For instance, our initial campaign generated over 200 qualified leads in a single week. Following engagement by the sales team, the resulting client acquisitions effectively covered the cost of the ad campaign.

Crucially, we also clearly articulated the brand’s personality and voice, providing a complete guide for consistent communication.

Ultimately, I established the foundation for a robust social media ecosystem designed to drive company growth and laid out clear guidelines for successful advertising campaigns.

Social Media Management: Sergio Villamizar Global

I took on the challenge of transforming Sergio Villamizar Global’s social media presence, where a wealth of content was hindered by a chaotic feed, lack of strategy, and undefined style. My primary objective was to cultivate a strong online community.

I successfully revamped the social media feed, making it aesthetically more appealing and significantly increasing post interactions. During that time, short videos were just emerging, and «Lives» were the dominant trend, which I leveraged to connect directly with the audience.

Merchandising Initiative

For Intelligent Monitoring and Sergio Villamizar Global, I’ll strategically develop comprehensive promotional and marketing collateral, along with branded merchandising, specifically tailored to elevate the brand’s visibility, engagement, and market penetration among key stakeholders.

Global Reach, Local Identity: Social Media & Brand Localization

I developed the social media strategy for Beauty Project, focusing on information dissemination and promotion during its initial launch in Panama, Guatemala, and El Salvador.

Strategic Design for Regional Challenges
A key part of the launch was visual localization. I was the designer and creator of the logos and graphic identities used to distinguish the challenges or specific initiatives in each country. The design challenge was to ensure that while each regional identity was distinctive to resonate locally, they maintained a strong, recognizable family resemblance to unify the overall global brand.

Pre-Instagram Social Strategy (X/Twitter & WhatsApp)
Recognizing that X (then known as Twitter) was the dominant platform for rapid content consumption before Instagram’s widespread popularity, my social media strategy prioritized speed and shareability.

I focused on creating a series of visually engaging, high-impact images specifically designed for quick consumption. These posts, initially shared on X (Twitter), quickly garnered a significant number of retweets and likes. Crucially, they were rapidly shared via WhatsApp, effectively amplifying Beauty Project’s reach and engagement across the region and driving viral promotion.

Dynamic Weekly Design: Tailoring Ad Campaigns to Regional Culture at IMBEMOCA

I was responsible for the design and production of weekly newspaper advertisements at IMBEMOCA over a six-month period. My focus was on cultural relevance: each design was thematic and adapted to the specific regional celebration of the week. This tactic, by directly appealing to the local idiosyncrasy, strengthened the emotional connection with the audience and boosted brand recall.

Complementing the print strategy, I also produced and edited a commercial designed for cinema distribution. This audiovisual piece expanded the brand’s reach and ensured an impactful presence across the region’s mass media.
